He is survived by: his wife Alisa Vargas (Elder); his children, Beth Resinglo (Thomas), Antonio Vargas (Christine Koch) and John Vargas, Jr (Chelsea Meck); and his grandchildren, Schinel, Thomas Jr., Regina, Taylor, Sean, Halie, Antonio Jr., Abygail, Jacob, Hailey and Hannah.
