He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee David and Kathryn Wilt (Grenoble); and his siblings, Lee Wilt, Virginia Wilt, Betty St (Wilt), Jeremiah Wilt, Dorothy Foulk (Wilt), Samuel Wilt, Jacob Wilt, Rebecca Moad (Wilt), Jess Wilt, Abel Wilt, John Wilt and David Wilt.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Wilt (Albright); his children, Joseph Thomas Wilt Jr. of Lewistown, Sean Wilt (Vedra) of Lewistown, Kyle Wilt (Kristin) of Lewistown and Stephanie Koenig (Chris) of Reedsville; his grandchildren, Michael Bratton (Liz), Savanah, Sophie, Lyndsey, Madelyn, Gauge Wilt, Vivian and Harper Koenig; his great grandchildren, Carter and Colt Bratton; his sister Barbara Deamer (Wilt); and his siblings-in-law, Doris, Dorothy, Nancy, Annie, Joyce, Connie Wilt, Tina, Sally Albright, Roy Deamer, Mark and David Albright.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joseph's memory may be made to the New Life Church, Attn: Building Fund, 101 North Beech Street, Burnham, PA 17009.
