He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Forshey and Mary Forshey (Hastings); his brothers, Gene, Paul and Donald Forshey; and his significant other Connie L. Aitkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kammy Lou Shank (Kevin) of Elizabethtown and Tammy Authier (Randy) of Delaware; his grandchildren, Robin, Carissa, Cherish, R. J., Ami and Hanna; and his siblings, Jerry Forshey (Shirley) of Lewistown, Mary Reese of Mississippi, Dean Forshey (Connie) of Mount Union, John Forshey of New York, Carl Forshey (Pam) of New York, Sara Dickson of Lewistown and Bill Forshey of McClure. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
