She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Oscar and Mary Griffith (Tressler); her husband Harry C. Swanger, Sr.; her grandson Eric Knepp; and her siblings, Helen Hackett, Billy O Griffith, William R. Griffith, Irene Louise Sassaman, Francis McCunn (Violet) and Jessie Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Harry C. Swanger, Jr. (Carole) of Lewistown, Penny Marie Hetrick (Donald) of McVeytown and Kathy Jean Showers (Gary) of Lewistown; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Walters, Amy Luse, Jamie Miller and Kevin Knepp. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home (55 N Main St, Reedsville, PA 17084). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
