He was predeceased by: his parent Paul L. Sr.; his grandsons, Brent Lutz and Justin Lutz; and his siblings, Ronnie "Cork" Lutz and Jean Ellis.
He is survived by: his parent Sylvia Lutz (Pearce); his wife Phyllis Lutz (Mellinger); his sons, Douglas P. Lutz (Debbie) of Lewistown, Mark L. Lutz (Stephanie) of Altoona and Kevin T. Lutz (Paula) of Lewistown; his grandchildren, Eric Lutz, Bryant Lutz, Miranda Coleman, Rachel Stewart, Sarah Lonsinger, Allison Lutz and Ryan Lutz; and his great grandchildren, Gracen Lutz, Quinn Coleman, Wyatt Coleman and Penelope Lonsinger.
