He is survived by: his parents, Martin James and Virginia Waters-Schrader; his wife Eve Waters (Smith); his children, Virginia Anne Waters of Philadelphia and Carolyn Marie Heckman (Kyle) of Philadelphia; his sister Lisa Freedman (Jeffrey) of Yardley; and his nieces, Rebecca Freedman Corr and Lauren Freedman Ware.
