He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Sr. Gross and Gertrude R. Gross (Murphy). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gross (Cerny); his children, Robert A. Gross Jr. of Steelton and Ruth A. Gross of Wormleysburg; and his siblings, David Gross (Mary Lou) of Ohio, Irvin Gross Jr. (Cheryl) of West Virginia, Jack Gross (Dari) of Sewickley and Dale Gross of California.
