We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2018, at the age of 98, Robert Hackenberry (Lewistown, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Hackenberry; his wife Anna E. "Betty" Hackenberry (Jordan); his brothers, Howard, Elmer, Russell, Stanley and Richard; and his son-in-law Robert Slemons.
He is survived by: his parent Carrie Hackenberry (Getz); his daughters, Carole A. Shuey (Jack), Patricia L. Fultz (Alfred) and Deborah R. Slemons of Jacksonville, Fla.; his grandchildren, Jack Shuey Jr. (Rebecca) of Oswego, N. Y., Jeanne Peters (Andy) of Huntingdon, Fred Fultz (Tish) of Belleville, Cherie Zimmerman (Rob) of Lewistown, Bob Slemons (Kandi) of Reedsville and Angela Dietrich (Tim) of Jacksonville, Fla.; and his sister Dorothea Hackenberry of Lewistown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's memory may be made to the Sacred Heart of Jesus School or Church, 9 N. Brown St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
