He was predeceased by: his parent Fred Barger; and his son Nicholas Barger. He is survived by: his parent Marjorie Barger (Stewart); his wife Mary E. Barger (Harshbarger); his son Matthew Barger (Jenna Knepp) of Lewistown; his grandchildren, Seth Barger, Christopher Barger, Sydnie Barger-Kauffman and Drew Barger; and his sister Cynthia Vincenti (John) of State College.
