She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Hamilton and Carrie A. Bishop (Dunn); her daughters, Judith A. Soult and Trudy E. Brown; her grandchildren, James Brown, John Brown, Lauren Petrillo and Jamie Fisher; and her daughter-in-law Darlyn Hackenberg.
She is survived by: her sons, James C. Hackenberg Jr. (Marcia) of Strodes Mills and Robert "Bob" W. Hackenberg Sr. of Lewistown; her sisters, Dollie Stricker of Lewistown and Lorraine Haines of Beaver Springs; and her son-in-law George Soult of McVeytown. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
