She was predeceased by : her former life partner William C. McLaughlin; her husband Lawrence H. "Burky" Burkholder Jr.; her parents, Charles J. Saiers and Muriel B. Saiers (Guinter); and her stepsons, John and Thomas Burkholder.

She is survived by : her children, Charles W. McLaughlin (Mary) of Linden, Terry A. McLaughlin (Dawn) of Virginia Beach, Vonnie L. Beamer of Lock Haven, Linda A. Hanna (Mark) of Berwick, Patricia M. Plants (Larry) of Trout Run and Darlene K. Phillips (Garry) of Linden; her sister Gladys Leidhecker of Linden; and her stepson Joseph M. Burkholder (Rita) of Douglas, Wyo..
