He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin D. Jr. Bortner and Grace F. Bortner (Keim). He is survived by: his wife Mary H. Lannigan Bortner; his sons, Ronald L. Jr. (Lisa) of Palmyra and Brian T. (Kim) of Manheim; his stepchildren, Steven Small of Reading and Susan (Chris Richie) of Glenmoore, PA; his grandchildren, Logan, Bre, Jordan, Makenna, Julie, Kole and Elie; and his siblings, Mervin D. Bortner Jr. of Manheim, James F. Bortner of Mount Joy and Donna J. Rambler of Manheim.
