He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Ida M. Clarke; his children, Edward J. Clarke Jr. (Christine) of Mountainhome, Richard Clarke of Wilkes-Barre, Debra Pierce (Gary, Donna Witkowski) of Daytona Beach, FL and Cindy Soltis (John) of Daytona Beach, FL; and his sister Joan Utegg of New Mexico. He was also cherished by several other sisters; thirty six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
