It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joela F. Garman of Lower Paxton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Frye and Pearl Frye (Bookwalter); her husband Donald W. Garman; and her brother Joseph Frye. She is survived by: her children, Lorne Garman (Carol) of Dauphin, Elaine Fleming (James) of Newport, Anita Armstrong (George) of Annville and Donna Adams (Dennis) of Halifax; her grandchildren, Chris Adams, Naomi Zeiset (Travis), Sarah Strauser (Ryan), Andrew Garman (Heather), Jolene Adams, Grant Armstrong and Tara Armstrong; her great grandchildren, Ender and Makayla Strauser; her sister Oleda Hetrick (Steve) of Reedsville; and her sister-in-law Beverly Frye of Linglestown.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calvary Independent Church (3201 N Progress Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17110). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
