He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Paraschak and Anna Hine Paraschak; and his siblings, Joseph, Michael, Peter, Alice and Mary.

He is survived by : his wife Johanna Powell; his children, Lisa Hanadel and John; his siblings, Walter and Frances Suhocki of Freehold, NJ; his grandchild Sydney Gromel (Nick); his great grandchildren, Henry and Benjamin; his grandchildren, Morgan Hanadel and Dominick Paraschak (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Brielle and Dominick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
