She was predeceased by : her husband Karl Bungerz, Jr.; her children, Mary Elizabeth, Karl Stephen and James Sterling; and her sisters, Katherine Louise Elison and Frances G. Stearns.

She is survived by : her caregiver Peninah "Penny" Olal; and her son Robert A. (Allen Brandstein) of Allentown.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (3231 Tilghman St, Allentown, PA 18104). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
