It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Matlack of Macungie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Verbella and Jake Verbella. She is survived by: her husband Tyce Matlack; her son Jeffrey Matlack (Kimberly); her sister Nora Altemose (Clair); her grandchildren, Nicole Fehr (Michael) and Andrew Matlack; her stepgrandchildren, Daniel Warnander (Alexis) and Kathleen Zastko (Andrew); and her sibling's children, Rodney Altemose (Steven) and Robin Guggenberger (Daniel). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
