He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fleming and Elizabeth Fleming (Broderick); and his brother Robert Fleming. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Fleming (Keen); and his sons, Kevin Fleming (Laura) and Craig Fleming. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
