We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2025, at the age of 85, Dorothy Ann Furry of Manchester, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Dorothy Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dorothy Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Keneth S. Hollenshead and Ruth E. Hollenshead (Gsell); her brother Donald Hollenshead (Lois); and her sister-in-law Rose Hollenshead. She is survived by: her wife Karen M. Jacobs; her brothers, James Hollenshead of Chambersburg and Kenneth "Jack" Hollenshead (Carol) of Chambersburg; and her pets, Holly and Poppy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
