She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Sowers and Sara Sowers; her husband Robert A. Mercante Sr.; and her siblings, Lois Crispin, Cora Skirchak, Marjorie Sowers and Ken Sowers.
She is survived by : her sons, Robert Mercante, Jr. of Lone Pine and Rick Mercante (Amy) of Harmony, PA; her siblings, Richard Sowers of Washington, PA and Shirley Newman of Gilbert, AZ.; her granddaughters, Lisa Post (Ryan) and Alina Mercante; and her great grandchild Anthony Post. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
