He was predeceased by : his mother Cheryl Detwiler (Shields). He is survived by : his father Kenneth Detwiler; his son Christopher P. Detwiler Jr.; and his siblings, Rebecca Long (Jack Brenner), Stacey Long (Blaine), Jessica Detwiler (Jason Thomas), Charles Detwiler (Alexis), Nichole Salazar and Melissa Detwiler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
