He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Umbel and Larna Umbel (Evans); and his brother Nevin Umbel. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly (Fearer); his children, Virginia Evans (Terry) and William Jay Umbel (Darla); his grandchildren, Amanda Evans, Nathan, Tara Evans, Brian, Brittany Umbel, Erica, Jeremy Bender and Bethany Umbel; his great grandchildren, Kyla, Raegan Umbel, Joelle, Hunter Evans and Bender; his sister Gaye Rodeheaver (Ron); and his sister-in-law Carol Umbel.
