He was predeceased by : his parents, Hazel Ott (Ackerman) and George C. Ott, Sr.; and his granddaughter Macey Edwards. He is survived by : his wife Donna K. Ott (Ott); his children, Randy (Krissa Fraunfelter Ott), Brian (Michalyn Giralico Ott) and Denise Edwards (Scott); his sister Mary Jane Skryzpek; his grandchildren, Abby Wheeler, Kassy Shrift, Madelyn Ott, Tanner, Brooke, Morgan and Maggie Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Wheeler and Hallie Shrift.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
