She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Sr. Hurd and Viola M. Hurd (Cain). She is survived by: her husband Richard A Richards; her children, David Richards (Ruth) of Gore, VA, John Richards (Laura) of High Point, NC, Paul Richards (Kristen) of Bayse, VA and Judy; and her sisters, Eleanor Palmatier and Shirley Nichol. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
