He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Phillips and Shirley Phillips (Burket); his son Allen E. Phillips; his grandson Christopher C. Phillips; and his brothers, JoAndy, James, Marl Goodling and Bill Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Grace E. Metzker; his son Larry W. Phillips of Juniata; his daughter-in-law Gabi M. Williams of Newburg; his grandchildren, Holly J. Bem of Ebensburg, Mindy Ochoa (Neil) of Maiden, NC, Adrienne E. Williams of Newburg, Amber E. Phillips of Juniata and Dustin F. Phillips of Williamsburg; and his brother John G. Phillips of Hollidaysburg. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
