He was predeceased by: his parents, John I. Reighard and Ethel F. Steele Reighard (Miller); and his sister Ella Snyder. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Steele (Diehl); and his children, James Steele (Louise) of Brownstown, Philip Steele (Cindy) of Newburg and Linda Johnson (David) of State College.
