It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Pastva Sr. of Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Puritan, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Pastva and Julia C. Pastva (Trunka); and his wife Mary Lou Quarry. He is survived by: his children, Gerald L. of Roaring Spring, Michael J. Jr. (Mary Beth) of Hartsville, SC and Lori A. Brumbaugh (Gerald "Jerry" Sr.) of Martinsburg; his grandchildren, Stephanie A. Thompson, Mattie C. Verbit, Benjamin N. Pastva, Katherine M. Clifton, Derek C. Nothstein, Erin M. Brumbaugh and Gerald S. "Jerry" Brumbaugh Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Tyler A. Thompson, Landon C. Verbit and Ava C. Verbit. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
