He was predeceased by : his parents, Edmund Scheuer and Maryella Scheuer (Weaver); his brothers, Jack, David and Jim Scheuer; and his sister-in-law Mary Scheuer.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Scheuer (Manners); his children, Beth Scheuer, Fritz Scheuer (Carly) and Dennis Scheuer; his grandsons, Andy Schmids, James, Owen and Colin Scheuer; his siblings, Suzanne Scheuer-Leone (Chuck) and Gerald Scheuer; and his sisters-in-law, Connie Scheuer and Kathey Scheuer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Dennis may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
