She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Foley and Anna Ludman Foley; her husband Wilbert Merks; her son Raymond Merks (Jayne); and her grandson Raymond Merks.
She is survived by: her child Thomas Merks (Carol); her grandchildren, Kimberly Corrado (Jason), Kenneth Merks (Clarice), Amy Vojtecky (Jonathan), Kaitlyn Boylan (Eric) and Matthew Merks (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Dominic, Julianna, Alan, Abigail, Cora, Reese, Jack, Cole, Jace and Connor; and her niece Susan Clutter. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
