He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa (Pazzula); his parents, John and Helen (Klacic); and his brother John Jr.. He is survived by: his brother George (Foo); and his children, Michael, Jr. (Patty), Janet Arnold, Dedo, Tara Fox (Steve), Bob Arnold (Kristen), Jodie Pavlovich (Chad), Kristen Battaglia (Vince), Sadie Arnold-Fox, Joey Arnold, Dominic Battaglia and Gianni "Gino" Battaglia. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mitch's name to the VA.
