He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Vincente Diaz and Rosa Rivera Diaz; his siblings, Justiniana, Jose, Esther and Felicitia Diaz; and his former wife Carole Diaz (DiDomenico).
He is survived by: his children, Marisa Aversa (Jim), Michael Diaz (Emma), Christopher Diaz (Amber) and Ricco Diaz (Athena); his grandchildren, Megan, Cate, James Aversa, Michael Daniel, Sophia Diaz, Piper, Leland Jordan, Mercedes, Reese, Story, Marco Cattelya, Christopher Jr., Angel, Ricco Jr., Max, Selena and Aidan; and his former wife Diane Shoemaker.
