With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Sturkie (McKeesport, Pennsylvania), born in Swansea, South Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Sturkie and Lucille Sturkie; and his brother Jimmy Sturkie. He is survived by: his wife Clare Sturkie (Kubensky); his children, Billy Sturkie, Jr. of Versailles, Chris Richards of Versailles, Lorie Broadwater (Dave) of West Mifflin and Jessica Lorenz (Jason) of Versailles; his grandchildren, Tim Simko, Amy Shank, Lacey John, Amanda Miller, Tadem and Tierney Lorenz; and his siblings, Bobbie Cassidy (Royce) of South Carolina, John Sturkie (Ruby) of South Carolina and Rudy Sturkie of South Carolina. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
