It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ermis Socrates (McKeesport, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Socrates and Anna Socrates (Mandula); his wife Mildred Socrates (Donahoe); and his siblings, Chris, Louis Socrates and Lillian Schroeder (Socrates).
He is survived by: his children, William Socrates (Kathleen) of Martinez, GA and Debbie Gray (Frank) of Elizabeth Twp; his grandchildren, Kristina Gripko (Chris), Franklin Gray, Robert Mei (Katy), Julianna Gray and Andrew Socrates; his great grandchildren, Brayden Barnhart, Annabelle and Jacob Gripko; his sister Virginia Shipley of North Huntingdon; and his child God Parish. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
