He was predeceased by: his parent John Hirosky; his wife Geraldine Hirosky (Gales); and his sister Dorothy DiStefano. He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Hirosky (Wargo); his daughters, Cynthia Best (Tom) of McKeesport, Colleen Hirosky and Heather Hirosky; his grandchildren, Rachel Hirosky and Tommy Best; his great grandchild Joslyn Plowman; and his sister Elaine Popchak of South Park. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
