He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Gottesman and Margaret Gottesman (Wechter). He is survived by: his wife Arlene Weisberg; his daughters, Renee Price (Howard) of New City, NY and Lorie; his cousin Ronnie Hooper (Glenn) of Lignum, VA; his son Barry Gottesman (Kimberly) of Timonium, MD.; his grandchildren, Matthew, Miranda Price, Macy, Reese Hooper, Lexi and Alex Gottesman; and his brother Joseph E. Gottesman. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
