He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cyril and Amelia Meinert (Wilhelm); his wife Phyllis Meinert; his children, Jacob Meinert (Kelly), Gerri Pollock (Don), John Meinert (Amy), Jim and J. J. Jr.; and his stepchildren, Dana Grandey (Scott), Mark DeAndrea (Sharon), Vince DeAndrea (Carter), Natalie Pavlan (Bob) and Tracy Klock.
