He was predeceased by: his parents, William Peebly and Thelma Markland Peebly; and his sister Joyce Peebly. He is survived by: his children, Rachel Bales (Mitch Kelly) of White Oak and Jacob Peebly of Port Vue; his granddaughter Jayci Kelly; his siblings, Janice Frum (Russ) of Silverthorne, Jay Peebly (Nancy) of McKeesport, Joan Kowalski (Henry) of McKeesport and Patty Carey (late Thomas) of Norfolk, Virginia; his siblings' children, Jason Peebly (Vicki), Teddy Olinsky, Chip Olinsky (Kristie), Tabitha Meekins, Adam Barden (Krislyn), Seth Kowalski (Beth), Amy Cortes (Michael), Brandon Peebly (Amber), Andrew Barden, Austin Barden and Jenna Peebly; his wife Terri Peebly; and his stepchildren, Katelyn and Michael Campbell. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
