She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis J. Canova and Vida M. Canova (Laughner); and her husband Duane H. Carter, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Duane Jr. Carter (Kathy), April Morgan (Robyn) and Lisa Sokolowski; her grandchildren, Jennifer Grech (Richard), Brittany Coyne (Matthew), Lindsey Carter, Autumn Tessler, Michael Sokolowski (Brianna) and Carly Sokolowski; her great grandchildren, Mirabella, Breya Coyne, Henry, Hanna, Charlie and Isabella Grech; and her brother Louis Canova (Janet).
