He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia Dougherty; his children, Margo Dougherty (Anthony Tabares), Heather Pape (Ben), Basia Watson (Nick), Samuel "Ziggy" Dougherty (Amanda) and Henry Dougherty; his parents, Ella Loretta and Samuel Dougherty; his sister Nancy Seebacher (late Ron); and his grandchildren, Hayden Mathis, Hayley Mathis, Tristan Mathis, Brynn Dougherty, Rylee Watson, Wade Watson, June Watson, Brooklynne Dougherty, Cayesen Dougherty and Davvin Smith.
