He is survived by: his children, William Lane (Laurie) of Friendswood and Bryan Lane of North Ridge, California; his grandchildren, Marissa, Ashley and Texans; his sisters, Cathy Slafka of Glassport and Diane Savasta (Guy) of Marion Center; and his siblings' children, William Slafka (Michelle) of McKeesport, Craig Slafka (Katie) of Glassport, Carey Yuhas (Mark) of Glassport, Jason Savasta (Jessica) of Morgantown, Jeff Savasta (Anna) of Sarver and Jaimie Frame (Don) of Irwin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
