He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Sr. Vaughn and Sallie Vaughn (Allen); his brother Charles Vaughn; his grandson Patrick Quiggle; and his daughter-in-law Marianne Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice E. Vaughn (Golz); his children, Nancy Andrejko (Thomas) of McKeesport and David Vaughn of Elizabeth Township; his siblings, Ruby Dorsey of Marietta, SC, Lewis Vaughn (Lila) of Greer, SC and Douglas Vaughn (Della) of Travelers Rest, SC; his grandsons, William Vaughn and Timothy Quiggle (Amber); his great grandchildren, Alexander and Giovanna Quiggle; and his sister-in-law Mary Vaughn of Hendersonville, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
