She was predeceased by: her spouse Sgt. Major Edward O. "Bud" Spangler; her parents, Tomogi Ito and Yoshino Ito (Saki); her daughter Katherine Spangler; and her siblings, Kaneo Iwama, Kinji Ito and Midchi Okuda.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Pendleton; her grandchildren, Nathan Miller (Melanie), Stephanie Kay and Megan Pendleton; and her great grandchildren, Thomas, Madison, Brayden and Hailee.
