She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Stringer and Violet C. Stringer (Thompson); her stepson Roy Freed; and her sisters, Phyllis Harmon and Linda Hockenberry.
She is survived by: her husband John F. Freed Jr.; her sons, Scott Stringer (Susan) of McVeytown, Stacey Williams of Lewistown and Jonathon Freed of McVeytown; her stepchildren, Dawn Michaels of Lewistown, Denise Grove (Danny) of Mifflintown, James Freed of Lewistown, John Freed III (Jen) of South Carolina and Shawn Freed of Belleville; and her brother Bill Stringer (Faith) of McVeytown. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren.
