She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard C. Truran and Helen Truran Jr.; her husband Eric Thompson; and her sister Marilyn Simonette. She is survived by: her son Sgt. Jesse Thompson; and her siblings, Linda Miller of Meadville, PA, Richard Truran (Mary) of Meadville, PA and Thomas Truran (Diane) of Lake City, PA. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
