We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2023, at the age of 94, Joanna Peters Watson of Meadville, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joanna Peters Watson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, C. Arthur Battles and Virginia Battles (Whitling); her former life partner James Ralph Peters; her husband David G. Watson; her siblings, Charles Battles and Winifred Harroun; and her stepfather Heyden.

She is survived by : her sons, James Douglas "Doug" Peters (Jackie) of Conneaut Lake and Jeffrey M. Peters (Janet) of Meadville; her grandchildren, Christopher Peters (Adina Segal), Slade Peters (Candee), Diana Wilkosz Jessica Peters (Andrew) and Cole Peters (Michelle); and her half-sister Charlotte Shorts (Frank) of Meadville. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Joanna's memory to Humane Society of Crawford County, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, or Hospice of Crawford County, 766 Liberty St., both in Meadville, PA 16335.
