She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mabel (Williams) and Lester M. Hess, Sr.; her husband James "Jim" Ort, Jr.; her children, David M. Ort (Debbra) of Dillsburg and Laurel B. Cook (Lawn) of Mechanicsburg; her grandchildren, Joy Welty Nibler, Brian Ort, Lynelle van Jaarsveldt and Melinda McGrath; and her brothers, Lester Hess, Jr. and Richard Hess. She was also cherished by her six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Slate Hill Mennonite Church, 1352 Slate Hill Road, Camp Hill.
