It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Tideman of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Pond and Hazel Pond. She is survived by: her children, Linda Griffiths (Hal), Ruth Brungard (Bill) of Mechanicsburg and David Tideman (Linnea) of Landenberg, PA; and her grandchildren, Joel Griffiths (Allison), Lisa Schuyler (Chad), Lori Elliott (Alan), Jamie Griffiths (Jen), Joseph Griffiths, Kristen Tideman (Beau), Lauren Tideman, Sara Tideman and Ellen Brungard. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Enrichment Center at Village Square (100 Mt Allen Dr, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055).
