Evans of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, whose life came to an end on November 4, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Andrew Newland and Lacy Newland (Gardner) of Nevada; her husband Warren D. Evans; her siblings, Bruce Newland and Neva Ruth Hill; her stepmother Nell Newland; and her stepsister Helene M. Fredeking.
She is survived by: her children, Lacy Edith Evans (Eric) of Timonium, MD and John Charles Evans (Leanne); her grandchildren, Hayley Nell Evans (Cooper Cromley), Nicole Elizabeth Evans, Ian Wolfram Evans and Arwen Genevieve Evans; her brother Wayne I. Newland (Alice) of Falmouth, ME; and her stepbrother Herbert Fredeking (Linda) of Oxford, MD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
