He is survived by: his sister Barbara Coultrap Zachar (Richard) of Clarendon Hills, Illinois; and his nieces, Jennifer Zachar Boone (Shep) of Cos Cob, Connecticut, Pamela Zachar (Ben Jones) of Bow Mar, Colorado and Peggy Kline Kirkpatrick (Kip) of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is also survived by nine great-nieces.
