It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larue A. Smeltz of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Crabb and Carrie Crabb; her husband Guy Smeltz; and her son-in-law Ronnie Hauber. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Mae; her son-in-law Ronnie Keefauver of Mechanicsburg; her son Ken; her daughter-in-law Audrey Smeltz of Harrisburg; her daughters, Sharon Hauber of Valparaiso, IN and Patty; her son-in-law Ken Houck of Mechanicsburg; her son Kim; her daughter-in-law Lori Smeltz of New Cumberland; her son Dennis; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Smeltz of Enola. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Malpezzi Funeral Home (8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
